Nugget stores recordings, transcripts, and notes in this browser.

When enabled, audio is sent securely to OpenAI for transcription and transcript text is sent securely through OpenRouter for organization. Saved recordings and ideas remain in this browser.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to collect anonymous usage and page performance data, like page views, load speed and layout shift. This never includes your recordings or text.

Shared links

If you share an idea, we save a copy of that idea's title and text on our server so anyone with the link can read it. It doesn't include your name, your account details, your other ideas or the recording. Edits you make later aren't copied. When you turn sharing off, we delete the copy and the link stops working.

Payments

Stripe handles payment. We never see or store your card. Charges show as Monkey LoveStack, the company behind Nugget.

We keep your plan status linked to your account, and we store the Stripe customer ID and the Stripe subscription ID.

Deleting your account and data

You can't delete your account in the app yet.

Questions or deletion requests: steven@nuggetminer.com. If you have an account, we'll delete it, your plan record and your shared links on request. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its terms.

Erase all local data in Settings removes the captures, recordings, transcripts, ideas, actions, tags, and custom categories stored in this browser. Erasing your data also turns off your shared links. If we can't reach our server, you can choose to erase anyway, and those links keep working because the copy stays on our server. It does not delete your account or your plan record.

If you have Pro, cancel it in Manage billing before you email us. Cancelling in Manage billing keeps Pro until the end of the current billing period and gives no partial refund. Asking us to delete your account does not cancel Pro.
