When processing runs, audio is sent securely to AI in the cloud to transcribe and organize it. Nugget does not cloud-sync your saved recordings or ideas.

Recordings remain in this browser until you delete the capture, erase all local data, or turn on a recording retention policy below.

Anonymous page-view and product-event analytics go to Vercel. They do not include recordings, transcripts, idea content, emails, or local record identifiers.

Recording retention

Audio is the largest thing Nugget stores. Once a capture has a transcript, you can let Nugget remove the audio automatically. Transcripts, ideas, actions, and history are never affected, and nothing is removed until you turn a policy on.

Your captures, recordings, transcripts, ideas, organization, and settings, bundled as JSON. The backup is built locally in this browser. Send it somewhere off this device so a cleared browser or a lost phone cannot take it with them.
